
Kate Garraway, 54, took to social media last night to share a picture of her 11-year-old son burying his head in the sofa after Italy won the Euro 2020 title. The Good Morning Britain star went on to thank the England football team for uniting the country and for inspiring a new generation despite their defeat.
Kate said it was “heartbreaking” to experience their loss, while sharing a picture of her dejected son.
In her latest snap, Billy, who Kate shares with her husband Derek Draper, could not hide his disappointment.
It follows an earlier post, which saw her youngest child celebrating after Gareth Southgate’s team beat Denmark and made history by securing a place in the final.
The mum-of-two, who also shares daughter Darcey, 15, with her spouse, posted her update in view of her one million followers.

Many took to the comments section of her post to share their thoughts.
“Absolutely heartbreaking but they done us proud,” (sic) one follower said in agreement.
“Seeing the kids upset is the worst… but yes. – let’s be proud of this wonderful young England team! The best is yet to come,” another added.
“We’ll be back, Bill. Didn’t they do us proud!” a third remarked.
