Officer injured during altercation in Hollywood – WPLG Local 10

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – An officer was injured during an altercation with a suspect in Hollywood.

Police tell Local 10 that at around 10:30 Sunday night, there was a suspicious incident near the 4000th block of North Hills Drive.

Officers with the Hollywood Police Department responded to the scene, where the altercation took place with a suspect.

The injured officer was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
